Day with a Designer

Spend a day with us as your design assistant - we will help you get through the tough, sometimes overwhelming, decision-making process and get started on your design project. We will guide you along the way to make sure your time and money is well spent, helping to avoid costly design mistakes.
This package includes 6 hours of design consultation time together; this may be spread across more than one day.
During our first meeting, either in person or virtually, we will ask about your goals, preferences, and investment amount, so we can guide you accordingly. Our 6 hours together may include working on the following decisions:

• paint colours
• finish materials (flooring, tile, etc.)
• cabinetry finish, style, and hardware
• countertops
• lighting
• appliances
• plumbing fixtures (faucets, sinks, tubs, showers)
• furnishings

This package is intended for decision-makers who may be overwhelmed by choices. Your project is preferably near the beginning - before much work is done - so we can assess your needs and help get you on the right path. Day with a Designer intends to help you finalize decisions on design aspects of your project. This package may also be used for decorating decision-making, such as furniture selection and placement.
Day with a Designer is not intended for assistance with large-scale design projects that include moving walls, doors, or windows, and does not generally include deliverables such as design or construction drawings, unless used for a simple room layout rather than the above items.  If you are looking for longer-term or more in-depth design assistance, we recommend our Designer by your Side package.
Kitchens and bathrooms can often involve many complex decisions - for renovations on these rooms, we recommend our Basic Kitchen or Basic Bathroom packages.
